Alvin tri-fluorescent task lamp is constructed with a metal arm, plastic shade, and heavy duty mounting clamp. Drafting lamp features three fluorescent bulbs for a total of 42W, with a unique rectangular gridded shade to evenly spread light onto the work surface.

Heavy-duty desktop mounting clamp that fits up to 2-1/2" thick surfaces. Includes three T5 14W Fluorescent bulbs. UL listed.

Unbelievable value!

I saw these lights at a local store, and feel in love with how bright and even the illumination was. But the price? Ridiculous. Until we found these on office furniture.com -- two lights for less than the price of what the local store was charging. We bought four of these lamps, and have them on our two desks for art illumination. Every lamp came well-packed and in perfect working order. The desk edge clamp is durable, with a set screw to ensure it doesn't just pop out. The light is a pleasing white, with temperatures of the bulbs listed as 6400K. The lighting is consistent, with enough width to eliminate any harsh shadows. These are BIG. Love them.

Desk lamp. Good light.

This is an excellent lamp. It provides good light and is extremely flexible in it's ability to twist and articulate. I like that it clamps on so it does not take up valuable desk space. My only comment is how big it is. I was surprised by the size.
